    In 2013, Surfrider Foundation Gold Coast Tweed Branch President, Jordyn de Boer and Tania Potts from Yeskandoo turned their passion for the environment into Boomerang Bags - a bag share program where shopping bags are made out of recycled materials and available for the community to borrow and bring back to reduce the use of plastic shopping bags.

    Surfrider Foundation Northern Beaches Branch and youth travel leader, Contiki, have teamed up to bring a beach clean-up tour to Sydney’s Northern Beaches from Palm Beach to Manly. The tour aims to raise awareness of the dangers of single use plastics on our marine environments as part of it’s national Rise Above Plastics campaign.

    Double Island Point Beach Clean Up and Dune Planting Camping Weekend! 

    Join our Sunshine Coast branch for their bi-annual Double Island Point beach clean-up and dune planting camping weekend! Cleanup as much you can handle & plant out the dunes with your local surfrider crew, then come to the base camp for a fun afternoon of presentations, live music, free food and mega prize raffle draw - everyone receives a ticket for volunteering!
