Driven by surfers, families, ocean lovers, and environmental advocates, Surfrider Foundation leads grassroots action and community engagement to address the challenges facing our coast. We are currently working to stop plastic pollution at the source and address poor water quality along the east coast.
Surfrider Foundation Newcastle helped lead the successful STOP PEP11 movement that protected the local coastline from the threat of offshore fossil fuel exploration and the danger of a major oil spill.
