Photos from the Northern Tasmania Pulp Mill Protest - April 2007

Local media reports estimated 3,000 people at the rally protesting against the pulp mill - including folks who couldn't get into the hall and spilled out on the lawns and on the main street. They heard the speeches, including one by Surfrider Foundation Australia (Peter Whish-Wilson - pictured), over an external sound system.
