Double Island Point Beach Clean Up and Dune Planting Camping Weekend!
Join our Sunshine Coast branch for their bi-annual Double Island Point beach clean-up and dune planting camping weekend! Cleanup as much you can handle & plant out the dunes with your local surfrider crew, then come to the base camp for a fun afternoon of presentations, live music, free food and mega prize raffle draw - everyone receives a ticket for volunteering!
As well as helping out, you'll have time to relax, surf, fish, and make some new friends.In May this year Surfrider Sunshine Coast collected over 2 tonnes of rubbish off the beaches and dunes, removed more than 15 bags of weeds and planted out the dunes with some native plants.
Come along and enjoy a jam packed weekend!
