Surfrider-Peugeot: ready for the 2013 Sydney-Hobart Classic

Surfrider is delighted to be partnering Peugeot in its first ever Rolex Sydney Hobart Classic. The yacht, a ‘Beneteau 45′, will sail under the name “Peugeot Surfrider”.
The concept of highlighting the problem of ocean plastics is the brainchild of the Protect Our Playground (PoP) Crew. Training is well underway with the crew honing its skills in a series of regattas on Sydney Harbour over the coming months. The crew will also be joined by world renowned professional sailor and Surfrider Europe Ambassador, Nicholas Lunven, for the big race.
Surfrider is proud to partner with Peugeot and the ‘PoP’ crew. Peugeot has a proven track record of innovative environmental design that is a great fit for Surfrider and ‘PoP’ have the skills to “surfride” a great race, all the while shining a bright light on a massive environmental concern.
Get involved, sponsor this initiative and spread the word.
