In conjunction with Kirra Surfstock 2009, A celebration of Music, Surf and Culture, Surfrider Foundation Australia is hosting its 18th Annual AGM and Education Conference to be held on the Tweed Gold Coast from November 6th-8th with the outright goal of protecting the coastline of Australia for the enjoyment of everyone through Conservation, Activism, Research and Education.

A free event, SFA conference attendees can enjoy live music, and surf community events such as Saturday nights Australian Surf Movie Festival with Tim Bonython, the Grand Opening of SurfWorld Surf Museum at Currumbin, Book Launch of Sandra L Rodgers “Waves of Torment”, as well as Sunday’s Market/Food Stalls and Displays, beach care at North Kirra, Live Music in front of Kirra Surf Club and not to mention, the after party.
